L’area archeologica dei Fori Imperiali di Roma rappresenta sicuramente una delle zone storiche più famose ed affascinanti del mondo.
L’area si estende nel cuore della capitale italiana e raccoglie una serie di piazze monumentali edificate tra il 46 a.C. è il 113 d.C. principalmente dagli imperatori Cesare ed Augusto. E’ considerata il centro dell’attività politica dell’antica Roma, il luogo ove la civiltà romana è nata e si è sviluppata nei secoli.
La passeggiata che parte dal Colosseo per finire a Piazza Venezia lascia spesso a bocca aperta, emozionando anche il turista più preparato: ci si trova dinanzi a frammenti, resti e porzioni che visti nel loro insieme riescono ancora a dare l’idea di grandezza e importanza che per secoli ha avuto questo luogo.
Indosso una camicia check e un mini abito in pelle, un outfit in b&w con il tocco “grunge” di un paio di collant a rete, mentre rivivo un affascinante tuffo nel passato tra le strade affollate della magnifica capitale dell’Impero, quando Roma era al culmine della sua potenza.

The archaeological area of the Imperial Fora in Rome is certainly one of the most famous historic and fascinating areas of the world.
The location, which extends into the heart of the Italian capital, includes a series of monumental piazzas built between 46 B.C.E. and 113 A.D., mainly by the emperors Caesar and Augustus, and it is considered to have been the hub of Ancient Rome’s political activities, the place where the Roman civilization began and evolved over the course of centuries.
The walk starts from the Colosseum to finish in Piazza Venezia and prepare for shock and awe: there is faced with fragments and portions that still manage to give the impression of grandeur and importance which for centuries this place has had.
I’m wearing a plaid shirt and a leather mini dress, a B&W outfit with the “grunge” touch of fishnet tights, to relive a fascinating plunge into the past among the crowded streets of the magnificent capital of the Empire when Rome was at the height of its power.
