Sono sul  tratto di mura greche, le antiche cinte murarie della città di Ancona, in via Volto dei Seniori, presso il Palazzo degli Anziani.  
Un vero e proprio pezzo della storia e della cultura artistica anconetana ed italiana.
L’imponente edificio ha origini antichissime, datate addirittura 425 d.C., quando fu costruito per ordine dell’Imperatrice romana Galla Placidia, donna che governava tutta la zona costiera adriatica delle Marche. 
Dal XIII secolo è sede municipale della città e fin dal 1100 era il luogo dove si riuniva il Consiglio degli Anziani che dovevano decidere le sorti della città, da cui prende il nome.
La struttura del palazzo, costruito su un terreno molto scosceso, si presenta alquanto particolare nella sua forma architettonica: la facciata occidentale sorge a ridosso del mare e del porto ed è alta sette piani, a differenza della facciata che si erge sulla piazza antistante di appena due piani.
Maestosa risulta la facciata rivolta verso il mare, con il basamento ad arconi ogivali in pietra bianca del Conero e il resto della struttura in laterizi dove si aprono finestre romaniche ad archetti incrociati.
Indosso un outfit in bianco e nero, l’intramontabile mix cromatico di stile, che ritorna prepotentemente ad essere uno degli abbinamenti più in di stagione. 
Una t-shirt stampata su una lunga gonna plissè in seta, con un paio di comode sneakers a contrasto, per visitare la più antica testimonianza cittadina.

I’m on the stretch of Greek walls, the ancient walls of the city of Ancona, which surround the Palazzo degli Anziani.
A real piece of  Anconetana and Italian culture and history.
The impressive building dates back to 425 AD when it was built on the order of the Roman Empress Galla Placidia, the woman who ruled the entire Adriatic coastal area of the Marche.
Since the 13th century it has been the city’s town hall and since 1100 it was the place where the Council of the Elders, The Senators of Ancona, members of the wealthiest families, held their meetings to decide the destiny of the city. 
It is situated at a point where the slope of the hill is very steep so the structure of the palace is particularly peculiar in its architectural form, the building not only has two of the facade: one looks at the sea, the other on the area, but also includes seven floors on the West side and only two floors with Oriental.
