Tenerife è la più vasta e la più alta delle Isole Canarie e presenta, pertanto, la maggiore diversità biologica dell’arcipelago, frutto di speciali condizioni
ambientali, e dell’accidentata orografia dell´isola che modifica localmente le
condizioni climatiche generali, dando luogo ad una ricca varietà di
microclimi. 
Tale abbondanza di microclimi genera
habitat naturali molto vari e si riflette chiaramente nella vegetazione insulare,
formata da una flora ricchissima. Vi
abitano oltre 150 specie di flora endemiche, cioè specie floreali autoctone e uniche al mondo.  
Per questo motivo Tenerife è definita “le Galapagos” delle piante. 
La Phoenix canariensis, altrimenti detta anche Palma delle
Canarie, rappresenta il simbolo dell’intero arcipelago e con la sua sagoma slanciata e la sua corona di foglie è capace di offrire un aspetto veramente unico.
Mentre passeggio tra i curatissimi giardini e i viali alberati dell’isola verde, indosso un tailleur pantaloni gessato, perchè per stare al passo con le tendenze moda più cool di stagione devi assolutamente procurartene uno: sartoriale e decisamente maschile!

Tenerife
is the largest and highest island of the Canary archipelago and has, therefore,
the largest of biological diversity, the result of special environmental
conditions, and bumpy topography of the island, which locally
modifies the general weather conditions, resulting in a rich variety of microclimates. 
Such
an abundance of microclimates generates very different natural habitats
and is clearly reflected in the insular vegetation, formed by a very
rich flora. Live there over 150 species of endemic flora, that are native floral species and unique in the world.
For this reason, Tenerife is called the “Galapagos” of plants.
Phoenix canariensis, otherwise known as Canary Island palm, is
the symbol of the entire archipelago and with its slender shape, and its crown of leaves is able to offer a truly unique look.
While
walking through the manicured gardens and tree-lined avenues of the green 
island, I’m wearing a pinstripe suit, because to keep up with the coolest
fashion trends of the season you absolutely must get one: tailoring and
decidedly masculine!
