Santorini è l’isola che ti resta nel cuore.
Indimenticabile la vista sulla caldera, i suoi tramonti rossi, l’ospitalità dei suoi abitanti e il blu delle cupole delle chiese che creano un magico contrasto con il bianco delle pareti.
In poco più di 79 km quadrati ci sono oltre 300 chiese.
Ai piedi del monte Mesa Vouno, all’estremità sinistra della lunga spiaggia nera di Perissa, nella piazza del villaggio, è situata la sacra chiesa della Santa Croce, “Timios Stravos”.
Una delle più grandi dell’isola, la seconda dopo la Cattedrale di Fira.
La chiesa dalle cinque cupole, costruita tra il 1835 e il 1840, distrutta dal sisma del 1956 e ricostruita più tardi, è lo sfondo perfetto del mio OOTD, dove un top vichy ne riprende esattamente i colori bianco e blu.

Santorini is the island that will remain in the heart. 
The view of the caldera, its red sunset, the hospitality of its inhabitants and the blue of the domes of the churches that create a magical contrast with the white walls, are unforgettable.
There are over 300 churches in little more than 79 square kilometers of the entire island area.
The church of Timios Stavros, the Holy Cross, is located in the village
square of Perissa, near the promenade, at the foot of the Mesa Vouno mountain. 
It is the second largest church
on the island after the cathedral in Fira. The church with five domes
was built during the period of 1835 and 1840, but was destroyed by the
1956 earthquake and was rebuilt later. 
It is the perfect backdrop for my OOTD, where my gingham top takes exactly the same white and blue colors.
