Una indimenticabile passeggiata nel giardino dichiarato Monumento naturale della Repubblica Italiana e classificato dal New York Times tra i più belli e romantici giardini del mondo, realizzato sui ruderi della città medievale di Ninfa, nell’agro pontino, in provincia di Latina.
L’habitat costituito dal fiume omonimo, lo specchio lacustre e le aree circostanti, costituiscono la naturale cornice protettiva dell’intero complesso.
Oltre 1300 le piante introdotte: magnolie, prunus, camelie, iris palustri, alberi di tulipani, piante tropicali e una sensazionale varietà di aceri giapponesi, che è possibile ammirare in 8 ettari di giardino.
Tantissime le specie di rose che bordano il fiume, i ruscelli, i sentieri, le rovine, rendendo particolarmente romantico questo luogo. E la primavera è il periodo più bello per visitarlo perchè vi fioriscono ciliegi e meli ornamentali in maniera spettacolare.

An unforgettable walk in the garden declared a natural monument of the Italian
Republic and ranked by the New York Times among the most beautiful and
romantic gardens of the world, built on the ruins of the medieval town
of Ninfa, in the province of
Latina, Italy. 
The habitat consists of the eponymous river, the surface of the lake
and the surrounding areas, are the natural protective frame of the
entire complex.
Over 1300 plants introduced: magnolias, prunus, camellias, yellow
iris, tulip trees, tropical plants and a stunning variety of Japanese
maples, which can be viewed in 8 hectares of gardens.
Many species of roses that border the river, the streams, the trails, the ruins, making especially romantic this place. And spring is the best time to visit because cherry trees and ornamental apple trees flowering spectacularly.
