Fresco e leggero, il cotone gingham, conosciuto anche col nome francese vichy, nel motivo a stampa a piccolo quadri, conserva intatto il suo fascino retrò. E la stampa più estrosa ed eclettica di stagione continua a dettare tendenza, facendo immediatamente pensare ad una piacevole giornata in campagna, a un pic-nic al lago o ad una idilliaca passeggiata in riva al mare: in una parola all’estate, ma nella sua declinazione più chic.
Io l’ho scelto in bianco e fango il “pic-nic plaid” anni ’50, in un mini abito, che grazie alla romantica trama acquista immediatamente quel tocco di raffinatezza, che ricorda tanto i look di BB.

Fresh and light, the gingham cotton, also known as vichy, in the small square printing preserved its vintage charm. The pattern more whimsical and eclectic of the season continues to dictate trend, doing immediately think of a pleasant day in the countryside, a picnic at the lake or an idyllic walk by the sea: in one word to the summer, but in the more elegant declination. 
I have chosen the “picnic-plaid” ‘50s,  in white and taupe for a mini dress, that thanks to the romantic print immediately acquires a touch of sophistication, so reminiscent of the look of Brigitte Bardot.
