La Villa Comunale di Sorrento sorge sugli orti dei frati francescani ed è stata realizza tra gli anni 1877 e 1879.
E’ una terrazza a picco sul mare, profumata dal verde di alberi secolari, da cui è possibile ammirare l’intero Golfo di Napoli e, sullo sfondo, il Vesuvio. 
Attraverso le numerose rampe di una stretta stradina scavata nella roccia è possibile raggiungere in pochi minuti la Marina Piccola e più in là il porto di Sorrento: una rilassante passeggiata,  all’ombra del costone tufaceo, anche se i più pigri possono utilizzare l’ascensore che parte dalla Villa verso il porto.
Per ammirare il panorama mozzafiato dal meraviglioso giardino, indosso un ampio abito in stampa check. Non nella sua versione classica, bensì immerso in una palette di colori stravaganti, una versione decisamente più urban e femminile. Perchè questo A/I ci sarà un grande ritorno ai motivi scozzesi, plaid mood e stampe a quadri, spunteranno ovunque e sarà impossibile resistergli.

The largest public park in Sorrento, the Villa Comunale sits on a cliff top overlooking the entire Bay of Naples and offers flowers, exotic planting, large trees, and people-watching, plus a seamless vista that stretches from Capri to Vesuvius.
A real treat for the eyes and a place that deserves to be seen, absolutely.
From here, through the numerous ramps of a narrow straddle in the rock, in few minutes, steps lead down to the Marina Piccola, to lovely bathing establishments, and to Sorrento’s main harbor, or, if you prefer, starting from the villa itself, it’s possible to use the elevators located at the side.
Admiring the breathtaking view from the wonderful garden, I’m wearing a check print dress. Not in its classic version, but in a palette of extravagant colors, a much more urban and feminine version. Because this F/W will make a great return to tartan pattern, plaid moods and check prints, they will sprout everywhere and it will be impossible to resist them.
