Per i danesi la bicicletta è un vero e proprio stile di vita. In Danimarca andare in bici è usuale come lavarsi i denti al mattino, tutti usano una bicicletta, è una quotidianità, che ci sia vento, pioggia, sole o neve.

Copenaghen in bici è un must. E’ la capitale a 2 ruote del mondo. Qui gli abitanti percorrono ogni giorno un totale di oltre un milione di chilometri in sella alla propria bici, per lavoro o per svago e in qualsiasi momento della giornata.
Ecco perchè è la città dal volto umano che non conosce traffico e stress e dove l’ecologia urbana è una realtà.
E la città della Sirenetta di Andersen, della birra di Carlsberg e del quartiere libero di Christiania ha risvegliato il mio spirito bambino a suon di favole e pedali.
Sono nel quartiere alternativo e divertente di Meatpacking, che dal 2000 è passato da essere area di lavorazione dell’industria della carne a centro creativo con vita notturna alla moda e l’ottima gastronomia di ristoranti di qualità, dal biologico e eco-friendly, alle vinerie più cool, passando per la cucina gourmet scandinava e i ristoranti stellati.
L’atmosfera è rilassata alle prime luci del mattino nelle strade tra le caratteristiche case basse in stile olandese, con mattoncini rossi, finestre e balconcini in legno colorati. Impossibile non rimanere colpiti dalla quantità di bici ordinate in aree di parcheggio dedicate, sotto ad ogni abitazione.
Indosso un cappotto in montone reversibile dal lato della lana riccioluta, perchè per questo inverno  i capi spalla più cool sono le caldissime “fluffy furs”!

For Danes cycling is a real lifestyle. In Denmark, cycling is normal as brushing your teeth in the morning,
everyone uses a bike, it is a daily routine, even if there is wind, rain, sun or
snow. 
Copenhagen by bike is a must. It’s the capital with 2 wheels of the world. Here people commute each day a total of over one million kilometers
riding his bicycle, for business or leisure at any time of the day. 
That’s why the city has a human face that knows no traffic and stress and where urban ecology is a reality. 
And the city of the Little Mermaid of Andersen, of the Carlsberg beer and of the 
free neighborhood of Christiania has awakened my baby spirit to the
sound of fairy tales and pedals. 
Today I’m in the fun and alternative neighborhood of Meatpacking, which since
2000 has grown from processing area of ​​the meat industry in creative
center with trendy nightlife and gastronomy of quality restaurants, from
organic and eco-friendly, to coolest wineries, through the Scandinavian gourmet cuisine and starred restaurants. 
The
atmosphere, at first light in the morning, is relaxed in the streets
between the typical houses in Dutch style, with red brick
and wood stained windows and balconies. Impossible not to be impressed by the amount of bicycles ordered in special parking zones beneath each home. 
I was wearing a reversible shearling coat from the curly wool face, because this winter the warmest and most fashionable outerwear is the “fluffy fur“!
