Immersa in una lussureggiante valle verde dal clima fresco e mite, Sintra è una delle destinazioni turistiche più affascinanti del Portogallo.
Storicamente associata alla nobiltà e all’élite portoghese, qui i governanti vi fecero costruire palazzi sontuosi, residenze principesche, castelli colorati e giardini decorativi.
Ho optato per un outfit casual-chic, un paio di jeans cropped, un lingerie top e una giacca a scatola, per visitare il Palacio Nacional e le sue sale splendidamente decorate, un vero e proprio museo dell’arte dell’azulejo, con rivestimenti che risalgono  al XVI secolo.

Immersed in a lush green valley with a fresh, mild climate, Sintra is one of the most fascinating tourist destinations in Portugal.
Historically associated with the nobility and the Portuguese elite, the rulers here had built sumptuous palaces, country estates, colorful castles and decorative gardens.
I opted for a casual-chic outfit, a pair of cropped jeans, a lingerie top and a box-jacket to visit the National Palace and its beautifully decorated rooms, a real art museum of “azulejo” with coatings that date back to the sixteenth century.
