Avevo sognato… quelle cappelle perfettamente a cupola, le bianchissime case “grotta”, e le lunghe sere d’estate a Santorini, nelle isole greche. 
Ma la bellezza di Oia è disarmante, va oltre ogni immaginazione. 
In realtà, è quasi impossibile da descrivere a parole.  
Piccole candide abitazioni incastonate nella roccia lavica, intervallate da tocchi di fucsia intenso delle bouganville e dal blu cobalto di porte e finestre. 
Armoniosi e stretti sentieri, interrotti di tanto in tanto da una piccola chiesa, e ad ogni angolo c’è qualcosa di nuovo da scoprire. 
Oia è uno dei luoghi più fotografati della Grecia, se non del mondo. Ha ispirato artisti, poeti e ogni turista che visita Santorini. 
Oia, un piccolo villaggio noto per i tramonti mozzafiato e le incredibili viste sul mare, sulla caldera e sul vulcano sommerso.
Questo è esattamente il dono magico che Santorini offre a chiunque la visiti. Senza chiedere nulla in cambio. Perchè ha energia e bellezza a sufficienza per tutti. 
Chiunque tu sia, lei ti regala magia senza chiedere mai nulla in cambio. 
Indosso solo un comodo abito chemisier e le mie sneakers preferite, un outfit semplice e fresco per una caldissima giornata estiva in un luogo mozzafiato, magico, meraviglioso.

I still dreamed… of those perfectly domed chapels,
white washed cave houses, long summer evenings and Santorini in the
Greek Islands.
The beauty of Oia is unsurpassed, beyond immagination.
In fact, it is almost impossible
to describe in words. 
Small white houses tier the hillside,
interspersed by splashes of deep fuchsia of the bougainvillaea and the cobalt
blue of doors and windows. 
Smooth winding paths interconnect,
interrupted now and then by a small church, and at every corner
there is something new to discover.
Oia is one of the most photographed places in Greece, if
not the world. It has inspired artists, poets and every visitor
who visits Santorini. 
Oia is a little village best known for breathtaking sunsets and the amazing views to the sea, to the caldera and the volcano.
That is exactly the magic gift that Santorini offers you. Without asking for anything back. 
For she has enough energy and beauty for all the people. Whatever she gives she never asks back.
