Roma e la sua eterna bellezza…
Questa è la storia della Fontana di Trevi, icona barocca della grandeur papale e attrazione irrinunciabile del turismo nella capitale. Considerata, all’unanimità, una delle più celebri fontane del mondo. Un grande capolavoro dell’arte settecentesca, progettata da Nicolò Salvi nel 1732, vincitore del concorso bandito dal Papa Clemente XII e terminata da Giuseppe Panini nel 1762.
La spettacolare costruzione è un capolavoro d’architettura, scultura e ingegneria, alimentato da uno dei più antichi acquedotti romani, quello dell’Acqua Vergine.
Osservandola lo sguardo d’insieme è di grande effetto, soffermandosi sui particolari l’attenzione si rivolge, in primo luogo, al centro alla nicchia affiancata da una coppia di colonne corinzie che racchiude l’imponente figura di Oceano, trainato su un cocchio a forma di conchiglia da cavalli marini guidati da Tritoni. 
Nella fontana, scultura e architettura barocca si compenetrano e si fondono perfettamente, in un suggestivo spettacolo acquatico.
Fontana di Trevi è una visita obbligata per cogliere il senso di grandezza trionfale che è conservato nell’insieme dell’opera, degna illustrazione della Roma magnifica de’ pontefici. 
Indosso un ensemble boho chic, mentre resto incantata dalla magnificenza di questo incredibile complesso marmoreo, ove si respira l’aria della maestosità romana e dove l’imponenza, la grazia, la bellezza delle sculture e il movimento dell’acqua trasmettono emozioni di grande intensità.

This is the story of the Trevi Fountain, a baroque icon of the papal grandeur and undeniable attraction of tourism in the Italian capital. Considered, unanimously, one of the most famous fountains in the world. A great eighteenth-century masterpiece, designed by Nicolò Salvi in 1732, winner of the competition organized by Pope Clement XII and completed by Giuseppe Panini in 1762.
The spectacular building is a masterpiece of architecture, sculpture, and engineering, fed by one of the oldest Roman aqueducts, the Virgin Aqua.
The central figure of the fountain, in front of a large niche, is Neptune, god of the sea. He is riding a chariot in the shape of a shell, pulled by two sea horses. Each sea horse is guided by a Triton. One of the horses is calm and obedient, the other one restive. They symbolize the fluctuating moods of the sea.
In the fountain, the sculpture and the baroque architecture are intertwined and blend seamlessly, in a suggestive aquatic spectacle.
Trevi Fountain is a must to get a sense of triumphant grandeur that is preserved throughout the work, worthy illustration of the magnificent Rome of popes.
