One of the beautiful things about travel is that we all experience it differently.
I fell in love with London for so many reasons:
The magnificent historical palaces in the center that take your breath away and make you feel so small.
The rough-around-the-edges neighborhoods with their multi-cultural kaleidoscope of people, London is as cosmopolitan as it is British with people from around the globe drawn to the city.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised by what the city has to offer. Swanky restaurants, delicious street food, and experimental dishes in quirky settings all contribute to London’s constantly evolving, global cuisine.
I love the freedom of London, that freedom to do what you want to do, without anyone else’s influence or interference. The people here are so accepting. It’s a melting pot of different nationalities that welcomes, with open arms, those who are willing to work hard to accomplish their dreams.
London might move at a million miles per hour, but it’s simple to take a step back and take a tranquil break from its hectic pace. The city’s parks, just like the city itself, are a peaceful green oasis in the middle of the all hustle and bustle, where you can pretend you’ve left the city behind and gone for a break in the countryside.
London has been a magnet for creative spirits for centuries. From William Shakespeare to Jimi Hendrix and J.K. Rowling – the great and the good of the art world have been inspired by London. It still attracts the very best in musical, artistic and acting talent, as well as comedians and modern-day literary greats. Endless works of fiction have been set and continue to be written about the streets of London with the likes of Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, and Mary Poppins all calling the city home.
London is humongous.
You could spend a lifetime exploring the city, and you’d never stop being surprised. From Trafalgar Square to Piccadilly Circus and Chinatown in between, London’s diverse districts have particular personalities, so damn charming.
There are a million and one reasons to love London and for why you should jump on the next flight to this cooler-than-cool capital.
Walking around London, one truly feels as though they’re at the center of the world.
Seriously, what are you waiting for?
