libertà nuova: TORNEREMO A VIAGGIARE!

contemplazione grazie all’ombra degli alberi e all’intimità dello spazio

l’immancabile shopping.

I was bitten by the travel bug at a very young age.
That equals quite a few terabytes of memory I guess!
The breadth and depth of the travel memories I’ve amassed through the years have been amazing.
I do still have enough pre-shot content from my latest amazing travel to Morocco, so I will continue to share with you all my happy memories… hoping to come back to travel soon.

The origins of Le Jardin Secret hark back to the second half of the sixteenth century.
Two distinct building complexes form this amazing garden, each one conceived as a riad in and of itself.
Two distinct building complexes form this amazing garden, each one conceived as a riad in and of itself.
Enclosed by high walls without windows, the riad, with its rectangular layout, develops around a large garden. In the middle of the garden, divided into four flowerbeds by the intersection of two raised walkways, a marble basin has been erected.
The importance of the building, first demonstrated by its large size, is underlined by the presence of a private hammam, the qubba, and the tower.
The tower rises up as high as some of the city’s minarets and affords you matchless views of the medina and its surroundings, and you can also enjoy the view of the Atlas Mountains.

There are almost no other buildings of this kind left today in Marrakech.
The green spaces of Le Jardin Secret are divided into an exotic garden and an Islamic garden.

The exotic garden is filled with plants coming from all over the world, recalling the experimental aspect of the great gardens of Marrakech.
In Le Jardin Secret, the Islamic garden was instead restored following the likely eighteenth-century layout.

Closely linked to the riad structures, this type of garden was an oasis of peace, where you could allow yourself to indulge in your idleness and contemplation thanks to the shade of the trees and the intimacy of the enclosed space.

Stunning in pink! That jumpsuit is such a beautiful piece on you. Perfect for the bright colours of Morocco too. I love to travel, don't get to do it as much as I could though but I do believe it is so important to do so. It just enriches and teaches you like nothing else.

Wonderful, bright outfit!
This is such a pretty look! I love the garden <3 Nice Post! Have a great day!
