I ruderi del Castello Longobardo e della Torre Colombaia sorgono nel punto più elevato della collina, su un banco di roccia e dominano, dall’alto, il paese di Montoro Inferiore. 
Il Castello risale all’anno Mille circa, si tratta di un’imponente fortificazione che rivestì grande importanza difensiva fino al XIV secolo quando fu abbandonato. 
Attualmente sono ancora visibili una torretta a pianta quadrangolare, una torre alta circa sei metri e il mastio principale che si eleva per oltre 15 metri. 
Gli ambienti del lato est, probabilmente la parte residenziale, sono quelli meglio conservati.
Si narra che nel maniero ci fosse un antico tesoro, abbandonato dai signorotti in fuga: gemme, gioielli, monete che appartengono alla fantasia popolare e che non sono mai stati trovati. 
Di esso ci restano oggi solamente dei ruderi, sufficienti però a svelarci tutta la maestosità e la bellezza che caratterizzava l’edificio feudale, ricchezza inestimabile di un patrimonio storico ed artistico.
Indosso, in questa mia passeggiata che racconta di un mondo lontano e profuma di storia, il più classico dei capi spalla, uno dei più iconici del guardaroba chic per eccellenza, elegante e versatile, in grado di vestire di charme anche la stagione fredda: il trench coat.
Un impermeabile racchiude in sé un fascino retrò di mistero, ma anche di avanguardia: un must-have, un vero passepartout che si rivisita e conosce una nuova stagione di gloria, caduto nelle mani degli stilisti che si accaniscono a volergli cambiare pelle, scegliendo un formato glossy, lucido, un po’ fetish in versione animalier o pitonata, per una nuova femme fatale, o stampato a monogrammi in omaggio alla neo-logomania. Una declinazione che forse si farà notare di più.
Ed ecco che il trench sarà testimone di nuove incredibili storie da scrivere o raccontare.
Una fashion story senza la parola fine.
Questo è il mio abbinamento preferito: trench + denim. Semplice e pulito, come se l’avessi afferrato dall’armadio senza neppure accorgermene, come se fosse una vestaglia… così effortless chic… l’ho solo indossato al contrario, per renderlo più originale, updated e assolutamente glam.

The ruins of the Longobard Castle rise at the highest point of the hill, on a rock bank and dominate the village of Montoro Inferiore.
The castle dates back to about a thousand years, it is an imposing fortification with a great defensive importance until the fourteenth century when it was abandoned.
Today a quadrangular tower is still visible, a tower about six meters high and the main tower which rises for over 15 meters.
The rooms on the east side, probably the residential part, are the best preserved.
Story goes that in the castle there was an ancient treasure, abandoned by the nobles on the run: gems, jewels, coins that belong to the popular imagination and that have never been found.
Today only ruins remain of it, enough to reveal to us all the majesty and beauty that characterized the feudal building, an inestimable wealth of historical and artistic heritage.
In my stroll that tells of a distant world and smells of history, I’m wearing a classic piece, one of the most iconic of the chic wardrobe par excellence, elegant and versatile, able to give charm even to the cold season: the trench coat.
A trench coat embodies a retro charm of mystery, but also of avant-garde: a must-have, a true passepartout that revisits and knows a new season of glory, fallen into the hands of fashion designers who want to change its look, choosing a glossy surface, a little fetish version with an animalier print, a classic of seduction for a new sexy woman, or printed in monograms in homage to neo-logomania.
A declination that will not go unnoticed. So the trench will witness new incredible stories to write or tell.
A never-ending fashion story.
This is my favorite combination: trench + denim. Simple and minimal, as if I had grabbed from the closet without even realizing it, as if it were a dressing gown… so damn effortless chic… I just wore it on backward, to make it more original, updated and full of glam.
