Il Minnewater è il lago dell’amore, un luogo romantico immerso nel verde e attraversato da un susseguirsi di ponti dai quali godere una vista magnifica e un’atmosfera incantata.
Uno dei posti più idillici e poetici della città di Bruges… qui è come fare un viaggio nel tempo e ritrovarsi improvvisamente nel XV secolo.

C’è qualcosa di magico nelle città attraversate dall’acqua e passeggiare tra le stradine della “Venezia del Nord” è un’esperienza indimenticabile, incontrando, ogni volta, un nuovo magico angolo pieno di sorprese.

E’ bello indugiare per contemplare dai ponti l’eleganza delle facciate medievali dal fascino fiammingo e gli specchi d’acqua dove eleganti cigni dolcemente scivolano, un’intera colonia di magnifici “collilunghi” con i loro “brutti anatroccoli” vive qui. 
E’ indescrivibilmente bello percorre ogni singolo canale, inseguirlo, viverlo, assaporandone tutto il fascino.
L’ncantevole bomboniera del Belgio regala scorci di cui rimanere affascinati, è un luogo che sembra disegnato per quanto è bello! Incantò persino Dante Alighieri, in tempi piuttosto remoti, che la citò nel XX Canto del Purgatorio.
Il suggestivo lago canalizzato è l’angolo degli innamorati, circondato da un parco verdeggiante e curatissimo, è capace di far rilassare anche il turista più frettoloso… e non è difficile capire perchè, ammirando le sue sponde pittoresche, insolitamente colorate e tranquille.
Un’oasi di pace e bellezza nel cuore della città, che sembra sospesa nel tempo, quasi come un sogno ad occhi aperti o come le pagine di un libro di storia.
Ancora un outfit in black & white, l’intramontabile mix cromatico di stile che ritorna prepotentemente ad essere uno degli abbinamenti più “in” di questa primavera, mentre mi soffermo nel luogo ideale ove poter godere della magia idilliaca racchiusa a Bruges. Ove per respirare a pieni polmoni l’atmosfera occorre semplicemente fermarsi sul ponte e ammirare lo spettacolo che ti si presenta davanti, dalle fronde degli eleganti salici piangenti che insieme disegnano inaspettati mondi astratti, onirici e surreali.

With a postcard-perfect medieval look, pairs of swans drifting around on meandering canals, and a body of water  called Minnewater, literally the “Lake of Love”, you’d be hard-pressed to name a city more inherently romantic than Bruges.
So why fight it?

Tucked away at the southern end of Bruges is this exceptionally romantic spot.
It’s a lake channeled and from the bridge, built in 1740, you can enjoy a pleasant panoramic of the city. The best place to begin your romantic stay in the city. And that is precisely the word “Minne” means in Dutch: “love”.
It’s a great place to be with someone you love, so serene and peaceful.
Take a stroll over the Minnewater Bridge with your partner and you’ll forever be in love.
Who has not dreamed of a city where falling in love or be in love? Or with a beautiful corner in which promising a kiss?
Enjoy the scenery from the lake bridge, one of the benches along the lake or stroll through the calm Minnewaterpark.
It’s a great place to see the wildlife of Bruges, in particular the swans which are the city’s emblem.
This is also an excellent place for anyone looking to take picturesque photos.
Walking in this area you will get a sense of what Bruges must have been in the past.
The incomparable beauty of Bruges has no name, only a sound of bells and a color, that of their houses reflected in the mirror of the channels.
