Nella perla della Fiandre occidentali il tempo sembra essersi fermato, indescrivibile la tranquillità che si prova nel
passeggiare tra i suoi vicoli e i canali su cui si affacciano pittoresche abitazioni medioevali.
Si scrive Bruges, si pronuncia bellezza. 
Una bellezza che ti si infila sotto la pelle senza che tu te ne accorga,
che ti avvolge, che ti fa sentire a casa.
Bruges ti accoglie
con la sua semplicità in un’atmosfera magica che ha il potere di portarti indietro nei secoli, in una dimensione di equilibrio
interiore dalla quale fai fatica a dissociarti quando devi ripartire.
Ci sarà un motivo se i turisti scelgono Bruges come seconda destinazione del Belgio. 
Forse perché si
va alla ricerca di un luogo autentico, con una propria identità. 
Meno
cosmopolita di Bruxelles, Bruges è il luogo in cui fermarsi e incontrarsi,
per affascinarsi ad ogni singolo dettaglio, lasciandosi avvolgere dalla sua accogliente eleganza.
Il cuore di Bruges pulsa nel Markt o Piazza del Mercato, il centro
commerciale della città in epoca medioevale e oggi uno dei punti di
maggior interesse turistico. 
Oltre alla stupefacente grandezza, il Markt
è caratterizzato dall’essere circondato dalle tipiche case colorate dalle guglie appuntite,
un tempo sedi delle corporazioni e oggi occupate da bar e ristoranti, e dalle abitazioni più antiche della città, risalenti al XV secolo e ancora magicamente intatte nella loro bellezza.
La piazza è dominata dall’imponente torre
campanaria conosciuta come Belfry, simbolo della città.
Indosso un outfit in black & white, mentre faccio una scorpacciata di bellezza passeggiando per il centro storico di Bruges, dove da ogni angolo fanno capolino meraviglie
storiche, artistiche e architettoniche dal fascino indescrivibile e difficili da dimenticare.

Getting lost through the streets of Bruges is a treat. 
While there are well-known landmarks, the joy comes from exploring… take your time here and wander.
You are wandering picturesque cobbled lanes, flanked by fabulous medieval buildings.
You keep crossing bridges over century-old canals.
A smell of warm Belgian waffles is floating in the air.
Horseshoes are ticking on the cobblestones.
This Flemish city is more than just beautiful, Bruges is an open air museum.
Walking through central Bruges is like a romantic journey into the past.
With centuries-old gabled buildings lining a web of canals and cobblestone streets, the vibe is quintessential old-world Europe.
Just walking the streets and along the canals is worth the trip, but there are a few must-see sites around the city, including the Markt: the large square at the city center is one of the most picturesque and bustling places in Bruges.
The Markt or Market Square is the heart of ancient Bruges,  in the shadow of the majestic Belfry tower, was the scene of mediëval festivals, fairs, tournaments, uprisings and executions.
It’s filled with culture, history, and chocolate.
Today the large square is ringed by banks and many guild houses converted into restaurants.
The Markt is filled with pedestrians and bicyclists, and is a good place to start or end a walking tour of the city.
In all four directions of the square are unique buildings, traditional Flemish gable-roofed houses that provide a glance of Bruges’ glorious past.
The buildings together  create a fabulous scene.
I’m wearing a monochrome outfit, while I have a feast of beauty walking through the old center of Bruges, where historical, artistic and architectural wonders with an indescribable charm and hard to forget, peep out from every corner.

Basically, visit Bruges and you’ll love it. Seriously.
