Piccolo e caratteristico il porto di Trani, un’insenatura naturale a ridosso della cinta muraria a due passi dalla famosa Cattedrale, è un piccolo gioiello incastonato sul mare con una bellezza panoramica unica.
Tra i più belli lungo la costa adriatica.
Secondo una leggenda il nome della città deriva dal termine medievale “trana” che indicava un’insenatura ideale per la pesca.
Particolarmente suggestivo passeggiarvi, tra i numerosi e  invitanti locali con tavoli all’aperto, non a caso la ridente località pugliese è meta di turisti alla ricerca del piacere enogastronomico, da abbinare al momento ricreativo delle giornate in spiaggia.
Ma, per tornare indietro nel tempo e rivivere attimi unici bisogna addentrarsi nel centro storico, il cuore della città di Trani. Percorrere piccole strade dai nomi misteriosi e immaginare mercanti di spezie provenienti da terre lontane e tessuti pregiati.
Affascinante passeggiare lungo i vicoli con alternanza di ricchi palazzi barocchi e chiese dalle forme maestose, dove prevale il bianco della pietra.
Collocata in una delle piazze più importanti di Trani, Piazza Sedile San Marco, fu eretta nel 1754: la Chiesa di Santa Teresa è il più bell’esemplare di edificio barocco che la città di Trani vanta.
La severità dell’edificio a bugnato rustico che si estende dal lato mare, si alleggerisce solo nella facciata, ripartita in due ordini, quello inferiore diviso in due da tre finestre e da tre archi, quello superiore caratterizzato dal particolare gioco di linee e chiaroscuri al cui centro una nicchia ospita la statua raffigurante Santa Teresa, opera dello scultore tranese Giuseppe Bassi.
E, mentre sole e mare fanno da sfondo, questo porticciolo è la cornice spettacolare del mio ootd, dove un lungo chemisier in seta è pronto a dare un upgrade di stile alla mia calda estate 2018.

Trani is a beautiful town overlooking the sea, in Southern Italy’s Apulia region, with a characteristic harbor and a medieval historical center pleasant to wander through.
The harbor is very scenic with lots of fishing boats tied up, restaurants and cafes all the sea.
The particular location, the moored boats, and the signal lights make the port and its bastions a unique destination for relaxing walks.
It’s definitely worth having a stroll along the port, especially either early morning or early evening when the fishermen set up shop selling their haul. 
To two steps from the harbor stands the Church of Santa Teresa, a typical monument of Baroque architecture.
It was built between 1754 and 1768
The building’s façade is divided by a highly overhanging ledge, the lower one opens on two levels with three arches and three windows, while the upper curves the lines of his profile giving rise to elegant side vulture and a central niche which houses the statue of St. Teresa by the sculptor Giuseppe Bassi.
The façade is very beautiful, perhaps one of the best and best maintained in Trani.
