Se avete in programma un bel weekend in montagna, probabilmente il primo pensiero sarà come vestirvi sulla neve per non avere troppo freddo. Ma se siete delle irriducibili fashion-addicted, oltre a coprirvi per non soffrire le gelide temperature, sarà vostro desiderio essere glamour anche ad alta quota.
Io e la mia Becky ci abbiamo provato, con un look doppio, per essere super trendy anche sotto zero.
Eccolo il nostro piccolo vademecum di stile, per essere alla moda alle altitudini più elevate, sfidando anche le temperature più rigide.
Partiamo con il capospalla per eccellenza, il piumino. Tanto bistrattato in passato è tornato di moda e ha fatto capolino sulle passerelle delle sfilate più cool dell’Autunno/Inverno 2018.
Questa stagione fredda lo vede assolutamente protagonista e la giacca da sci si re-inventa anche in città.
Proprio quella vera, da discesa, ora si usa per fare lo slalom fra le auto e grattacieli, ed è un imperdibile passepartout di stile metropolitano, per essere übercool anche fuori dalle piste.
In generale, possiamo affermare che tutto l’abbigliamento una volta considerato “tecnico” è oggi al centro delle tendenze. Insieme a giacche a vento, anche leggings e maglie termiche si trasformano in capi moda da scegliere secondo il proprio stile personale. Sono capi capaci di regalarti il massimo del comfort, garantendoti la più assoluta libertà di movimento.
Noi abbiamo giocato con colore e accostamenti flash, aggiungendo dettagli in pelliccia, perchè va da sé che l’elemento furry è un alleato imprescindibile di outfit tanto stilosi quanto caldi.
Infine, abbiamo completato l’ensemble un paio di occhiali per schermare i riverberi e stivali in montone, che oltre alla comodità della calzata regalano un innegabile calore, che dalle estremità inferiori diffonde un sottile benessere in tutto il corpo.
Dunque, non solo in montagna, ma anche in città, in queste giornate in cui stiamo sperimentando il passaggio di una violenta perturbazione di aria fredda e gelo siberiano sul nostro Paese: eccovi pronte ad affrontare l’insostenibile pesantezza dell’urban stress con l’infallibile leggerezza dello ski look.

We’re rarely at our sartorial best in the cold winter months. 
It’s hard enough just to find our gloves and bundle up, much less summon the willpower to accessorize beyond the basics. 
But as impractical as it may sound, spicing up your wintertime wardrobe may help you rise above the snow and the slush, at least in spirit.
Ski and snowboard apparel has long influenced the fashion world; one question remains: Is it possible to take streamlined, high-tech ski pants and wear them in the real world too or to be chic wearing a puffer jacket in the city?
As it turns out, the look can be gold medal–worthy even if you ride an elevator and not a chairlift. 
I suggest dressing these pieces up with nonathletic, more polished and fashionable ones to offset their technical aesthetic.
The fashion world now offers many offbeat alternatives, there are plenty more exciting options, and there’s even some more unexpected embellishments as well. 
So, if your winter basics are a bit lacking, maybe a playful item will breathe an exhilarating breath of fresh air into your wardrobe.
Me and my daughter Becky tried, with a matching look, to be super trendy even in subzero cold.
We played with color and flash combinations, of a puffer jacket adding fur details, because it goes without saying that the furry element is an essential ally for outfits that are stylish and warm at same time.
Puffer jackets have reigned supreme for some time now, and this winter, you’ll want to wrap up yet again in the coziest outerwear of all.
The jacket, popular back in the ’80s and ’90s before becoming synonymous with ski dads and tourists, was revived on the winter ’18 catwalks.
So, not only in the mountains, but also in the city, in these days when we are experiencing a temperature below freezing, we are ready to face the unbearable heaviness of urban stress with the infallible lightness of the ski look.
