If you are in Warsaw, then a visit to The Royal Łazienki Park can’t be missed.
It is one of the most beautiful palace and park complexes in Europe, which was established in the 17th century.
There are many wonderful architectural monuments in the landscaped garden.

Here you’ll find 76 hectares of nature which basically in the center of the city as well as many other objects of history. This park was created within the old wild forest so the animals there are detained under their normal natural conditions.
The park is also known for its population of tame squirrels, who will be happy to receive a few nuts and they are not afraid of humans.
You can meet them anywhere, on the footpaths, in the grass or climbing a tree.
A stroll in the Lazienki Park gives more than a trip to the local park. It is a way of experiencing past times, and you feel the splendour of old days.
It is often associated with romantic walks or sunny afternoon strolls with the family. It’s like a green oasis in the heart of the city, though well-structured, prepared and truly royal. Because of this, Łazienki is precisely a Royal Park as its name describes. It takes you back to the times when Poland was still a monarchy ruled by its last king, Stanisław August Poniatowski, as it was his summer residence. It’s called by the inhabitants “the happiest place in Warsaw”.

I’m wearing a long and enveloping checked coat, one of the trendiest the pattern of this cold season, but that will be absolutely cool even for the next spring/summer. I combined it with jeans and sneakers, in a comfortable sporty-chic set, for a stroll in a place where time goes back to when architecture, art and nature were not only considered some of the greatest values of a country, but also important in how it presented itself to the world. A stroll in this Warsaw gem will surely bring you inner peace, knowledge and a happy smile in knowing that places like this still exist and still do their magic.
