L’Alcazar Real di Siviglia è lo scrigno delle meraviglie, un mirabile esempio di architettura islamico-cristiana, in stile mudéjar e ognuno dei suoi luoghi interni è una tappa imperdibile, custode di numerose leggende, ricca di storia e ricolma di bellezza esotica.

L’ex fortezza fu eretta nel X secolo, durante il primo califfato andaluso di Abd al-Rahma III, ed oggi è uno dei Palazzi reali ancora in uso più antichi al mondo.
Assieme alla Cattedrale e all’Archivio delle Indie è stato dichiarato patrimonio dell’Umanità dall’UNESCO nel 1987.
Il palazzo è in realtà un complesso monumentale che comprende edifici per una superficie totale di 17.000 metri quadri e un giardino di 7 ettari, in un bellissimo mix di culture e stili, testimone fedele della storia della capitale andalusa. 
Passeggiare per i suoi viali costellati di aranci e mirti ci trasporta in un’altra epoca, come un’avventura indietro nel tempo, un’esperienza unica che sarà difficile rivivere in un altro posto del mondo.
E mentre mi concedo un viaggio nel passato, percorrendo gli angoli di questo complesso architettonico di eccezionale bellezza, indosso un look comodo, dal sapore solo apparentemente sporty, costruito intorno ad un paio di gym pants, così come detta una delle tendenze più cool di questa primavera.

Located in the heart of Seville, the Real Alcazar is one of the oldest royal palaces still in use in the world, regularly hosting state officials and dignitaries, and since 1987 it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The palace has evolved through different stages over time, from the late 11th century to the present day. From its walls, we can appreciate the influence of the cultures that have passed through the city.
This palace-fortress was commissioned by Abd Al Raman III, it is intricately formed of exquisite rooms decorated with plasterwork, tiling and coffered ceilings, which combine perfectly with the magnificent gardens and use of water to create an unforgettable impression.
The Royal Palace of Seville is a magnificent complex of patios and halls and one of the coolest things about the Alcázar is the mixture of architectural styles that can be observed.
It is by and large considered to be one of the most outstanding examples of mudéjar art to exist today.
Walking through its alleyways dotted with orange trees and myrtle plants transports us to another era, like an adventure back in time, a unique experience that will be difficult to relive in another place in the world.
And while I allow myself a trip into the past, discovering all the corners of this architectural complex of exceptional beauty, I wear a comfortable look, built around a pair of gym pants… because the athleisure style is one of the trendiest of this season.
